inclusive treatment

Our philosophy centers on three nonnegotiable therapeutic elements: safety, consent and acceptance. We believe you belong, we are already convinced of your whole worthiness and believe that emotional and physical safety in our practice is the foundation in which to bring about whatever change and support you need.

A space is only as healthy and safe as the people creating it, therefore as white, straight cis-women we are intentionally committed to our own anti-racism work, fully affirm the rights of the LGBTQ+ community and actively work to practice the same truths we preach in our personal and professional lives.

"What about this theory. The fear of not being enough and the fear of being 'too much' are exactly the same fear. The fear of being you." -Nayyirah Waheed

We believe that all humans are born with intrinsic worth and an intuitive sense of who they are—we trust this and see it in YOU. Due to broken attachments, unsafe relationships, and both small/big trauma in our lives we often are disconnected from and abandon our true selves—or may end up hiding our feelings, needs and true identity in order to get our needs met. This is a survival technique that we understand! We believe in a therapeutic relationship model that asks ‘what’s happened to you?’ over the shame-based question so many of us grow up with, ‘what’s wrong with me?’. Our hope is that we help you find your way home to you, whether that’s a past self or creating the person you want to be.

“my love language is sending you back to yourself” -Maryam Hasnaa

separate practices,

shared values,

same space.

Unlike a lot of therapy pages you’ll come across, this isn’t a group practice but it is a collaborative space—we recognize that may initially seem confusing since we share this website in addition to a RAD suite (come see our jungle wallpaper!).

After nearly a decade of professional collaboration and years of referring to each other because of similar specialities and compassion-centered trauma care, it made sense that we’d support each other’s practices as well. You can learn more about each of our individual practices and philosophy by clicking on our names above, or to get some more basic info to commonly asked questions click on the link below.
